Rights of passage ceremony
Each year Lorraine Simone and her students celebrate the intrinsic beauty and power of womanhood with a Rites of Passage Ceremony based on the world renowned Apache Puberty Ceremony for Girls.
To the Apache Peoples this recognition of womanhood, symbolized by the embodiment of White Shell Woman, their Great Goddess, is the most sacred of ceremonies. They believe that their women are their wealth. Although this Rites of Passage comes from the Apache tradition, it is important to know that Women's Ways Mystery School gathers wisdom from many cultures.
